Ghana suffered a 1-0 defeat to Equatorial Guinea in the first leg of the Women’s U20 World Cup qualifier on Saturday.

The Black Princesses fought very hard but were unable to avoid defeat against the talented hosts before their home fans in Malabo.

Ghana will now have to come from behind to overturn the 1-0 deficit if they are to have any chances of qualifying for the World Cup.

The Black Princesses are chasing their successive qualification to the finals since their debut appearance in 2008.
