Godfred Donsah is reported to have reached an agreement with Napoli

Ghanaian teenage prodigy Godfred Donsah has reached an agreement to join Italian giants Napoli, reports in the Italian newspapers claim.

According to the reports, recently relegated Cagliari have reached an agreement for the transfer of the Ghanaian midfielder who has been the target of several clubs in Italy, England and France.

The 19-year-old has been heavily linked with a move away from the Serie B side throughout the summer transfer window, following their relegation from Serie A last season.

It had seemed that a move to Juventus was the most likely option for the 19-year-old, but it would now appear that a move to the Stadio San Paolo could be on the cards.

Naples based broadcasters Radio Kiss Kiss, have reported that an agreement has been reached between the two clubs for an initial loan move, with the Partenopei having the option to make the move permanent for a further fee.

The initial deal is thought to be to the value of €2 million, though Napoli could sign the player outright for an additional €8m, with bonuses potentially adding another €4m.
