Ghana will rely on third choice goalkeeper Daniel Agyei for his expertise during penalty shoot-outs at the Africa Cup of Nations.

The Liberty Professionals player pulled crucial saves for Ghana's U20 team which edge Brazil to win a historic FIFA U20 World Cup in 2009.

Two years later, his antics ensured Ghana won her first All Africa Games football gold medal in Maputo, Mozambique.

Agyei made one gave as the Black Meteors beat South Africa 4-2 on penalties.

The 22-year-old has been practising for it at the team's training ground since they qualified to the quarter-finals.
