Ghana’s U17 side the Black Starlets have swept all the accolades at the four nation tournament held in Namibia after emerging victorious over Germany in the last game of the competition.

Ghana’s goalkeeper Prince Asempa emerged the best goalkeeper of the tournament with Emmanuel Toku picking the Best Player of the tournament while Daivid Cudjoe picking the goal king award after scoring 5 goals.

David Cudjoe of Asokwa Deportivo scored the highest number of goals in a single game by finding the back of the net four times in the first group game against Namibia U23 side which Ghana won 8-0.

Ghana beat Germany again in their second clash in the competition by 2-1 to emerge champions after seeing off Namibia U23 and U20 sides earlier in the competition.

The competition is a dress rehearsal for the Black Starlets who are currently preparing for the U17 qualifying game with Liberia in June this year.
