Ghana U17 captain Eric Ayiah says he draws positives from criticisms to improve.

The Charity Stars FC player suffered backlash during the just ended FIFA U17 World Cup finals in India.

''I am not perturbed nor discouraged when I hear people criticize me,'' he told the Ghana News Agency.

''Criticisms help me to grow as an individual and a footballer and so I am highly motivated by that,''

''As a young player with ambitions, I take criticisms in good faith and try to build on what is being talked about.

''It helps me to focus on what is ahead. I hope to achieve my set goals in the near future.''
