Ghana U17 coach names squad for South Africa in final CAF U17 qualifier

Ghana U17 coach Paa Kwesi Fabin has picked his 18-man squad to face South Africa on Saturday in the CAF U17 final round qualifier first leg tie.

The squad includes five players from the renowned Gomoa Fetteh Feyenoord Academy and other from Red Bull and Right To Dream Academies.

Tema Youth midfielder Moses Ojer is the only player with Premier League experience to have made the list.

Defender-cum-midfielder Yakubu Mohammed has returned from trials with Ukranian side FC Dnipro and Vicenza.

Striker Emmanuel Boateng of lower-tier side Charity Stars has undoubted qualities to lead the lines.

The Black Starlets will leave Accra on Tuesday night to face the Amajimbos at the Dobsonville Stadium.

The return leg will be played in Accra in a fortnight with the winner advancing to play in the 2013 African U17 Championship to be hosted by Morocco.
