Ghana U17 coach Paa Kwesi Fabin says they did nothing wrong and does not deserve CAF’s disqualification from next year’s championship in Niger.

The former Heart of Lions coach supervised the double wins over Cameroon to secure their place at the 2015 African U17 Championship.

Cameron protested that Ghana used an over-age player- Isaac Twum-in the first leg which they won 2-1.

But Fabin insists the country has been handed a raw deal by the continent’s governing body.

“I am really surprised over this claims that we had used an over age player,” Fabin told GHANASocernet.com

“Compare our team to their team and tell me who is looked over age.

“Sincerely they do not have any case, before any game we send our list to CAF, CAF who is eligible to play and CAF say this is qualified and this is not qualified.

“Anytime CAF could not see any players MRI they told us not to use the player.

“I could not use my regular midfielder in that game because of this same issue for me I am really surprised.”
