Ghana U17 coach Samuel Paa Kwesi Fabin has hinted that he is ready to call it time with the Black Starlets to take up a club coaching job after wandering with the club for 24 months without being paid.

The former Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko coach has come under huge pressure after failing to guide the Starlets to the semi finals of the 207 FIFA U17 World Cup currently ongoing in India.

The Black Starlets were handed a painful 2-1 defeat by their nemesis Mali in an all-African quarter final clash which sent them parking from the tournament.

But the coach upon returning from India has revealed that he is ready to drop his job and take up a club assignment where he is assured of a regular income.

"Its not easy coaching the national U17. I have done my part and so if I am asked to stay aside, I will be very glad. After sending my report, I will advise myself,"- Coach Paa Kwesi Fabin told Nhyira FM.

He emphasised on his readiness to take up a club assignment as he appears fed up with the national team job.

"Am ready to take up a club now after contributing my quota to the national team, coaching for over 2 years without salary. Should I get any good offer, I will go for it," he added.

Paa Kwesi Fabin has spent close to seven years as head coach of the national U17 side but has failed to win a silverware with the side.
