Caleb Gomah will be heading for trial at St Mirren.

Ghana starlet  Caleb Gomah has been handed a three-week trial by Scottish Premier League side St Mirren.

The midfielder played at the 2013 African U17 Championship in Morocco where the Black Starlets failed to advance from the Group stage.

The Sporting Club Accra player was spotted by a representative of the Scottish side during a tournament in the capital.

"Caleb was scouted by an agent of Scottish side, St. Mirren when we played a try game against an Accra-based team but due to his call-up to the national U17 camp, we had to allow him to serve his nation before we began any talk," the player's representative Parker Hanson confirmed to Goal Ghana.

The 17-year-old is expected to leave for Scotland next month.
