Ghana’s U17 African Cup opponents. Nigeria thrashed Botswana 9-0 in the second leg of a friendly game on Tuesday.
The Golden Eaglets had already beaten the same side 3-0 in the first leg match played on Saturday.
The impressive win now sees coach Manu Garba’s side extend its 22-game unbeaten run ahead of the African Championships next month in Morocco.
Nigeria are looking to take their impressive form into the championships proper where they will face Ghana, Cote d’Ivoire and Congo in Group B.
They impressive wins had sent the clearest indication of their intention to win the African Cup in April.
The Golden Eaglets will open their campaign against Ghana on April 14 in Marrakech.

Wait till they meet their match!!
niger-rians score botswana and they are happy? women beaters! come and face us.
Jealousy Ghanaians with their Pull Him Down attitudes, ur under 17 will never achieve what Nigeria under 17 have achieved. Nigeria under 17 have won under 17 world cup 4 times. And won African under 17 eight times. Nigeria under 17 will disgrace ugly charcoal Ghanaians as usual.
Editor is 23 unbeaten game , scoring 103 goals and conceding just one!!. The eaglet will thrash Ghana and fortunately this is our youngest eaglet ever, their style of play is beautiful to behold!
