Black Satellites Management Committee chairman George Afriyie is unsure whether Ghana will be able to secure foreign-based players for March's African Youth Championship.

Sellas Tetteh has penciled down Inter Milan's Alfred Duncan, Chelsea U18 captain Daniel Pappoe, AIK Stockholm midfielder Moro Abubakar and Fiorentina's Nii Nortey Ashong.

But Inter Milan have sent Alfred Duncan on loan at Serie B side Livorno while Daniel Pappoe, who was born in Lapaz - Accra, might not be released by Chelsea.

The Swedish Allsvanken is set to resume in March and AIK Stockholm might not allow the former New Edubiase United captain to join the 2009 world champions in Algeria.

George Afriyie feels they might not be able to secure most of their foreign targets for the tournament.

He told an Accra-based radio station, Happy FM: "If you look at Inter Milan's Alfred Duncan, he qualifies to play but Inter have loaned him out to Livorno."

"Richmond Boakye-Yiadom is another player who qualifies but his club needs him so securing him will be difficult.

"Moro Ibrahim of AIK Stockholm is another example.

However he keeps little hopes his management could succeed in negotiation.

"We will have to negotiate with the clubs to see players who will not be used by their clubs.
