Ghana U20 coach Sellas Tetteh admits his team have more work to do before facing Gabon in in the final qualifier for next yearââ¬â¢s African Youth Championships.
The Black Satellites will be hosting the Gabonese in the first leg of the ultimate qualifier on August 17.
The 2009 World champions will then travel to Libreville for the return encounter a fortnight thereafter.
The Black Satellites were however not overly convincing in their 1-1 draw with the Namibian U23 team in an international friendly played on Sunday in Accra.
And coach Sellas Tetteh admits his team is not quite ââ¬Ëthereââ¬â¢ yet with barely two weeks to their crucial qualifier against Gabon.
ââ¬ÅThis was a very good exercise and the result I believe was a fair result of the game,â⬠he said.
ââ¬ÅI loved the way the game was played and I am satisfied by this result.
ââ¬ÅRemember this is an international friendly match and not a local game. Such games show the players that they have not yet arrived.
ââ¬ÅWe wanted to see how the players cope against a very good side and also under a little bit of pressure.ââ¬
