Ghana U20 coach Sellas Tetteh says he always feels elated whenever he sees his graduates do so well for both club and country.

The former Rwanda coach is responsible for unearthing some of the current key players for the Black Stars in his victorious Ghana U20 squad in 2009.

Players such as Rabiu Mohammed, Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu, Jonathan Mensah and Andre Ayew who are integral members of Ghana senior national team all once passed through the hands of Tetteh.

These player alongside their other colleagues who excelled in that tournament in Egypt benefited from their immediate drafting into the Black Stars at the 2010 Nations Cup in Angola.

Tetteh, who is the coach of the current Black Satellites side is however largely credited for giving these players the needed platform for them to shine on the grand stage and earn their place in the Black Stars.

The affable coach now reveals his continued excitement whenever he sees some of his products display so well on every platform they are given.

“I feel so excited and delighted seeing them,” he told Metro FM.

“It is just like a father seeing his kids make it all the way to the top.

“It feels me with a lot of joy anytime I see them play for the national team and do so well.”
