Ghana Under-20 team coach Orlando Wellington has hinted at a shake-up ahead of next month's Africa Youth Championship final qualifying round tie against Benin.

Wellington wants to reshuffle the select band of locally-based players who put up an an abysmal performance at a just ended four-nation tournament in Japan.

Ghanasoccernet sources indicate four players will be shown the exit to make way for fresh and experienced limps.

Ghana tackle Benin in the first leg of the final phase of the qualifying campaign on 25 September in Porto-Novo.

"Benin will be more difficult because if you look at how they qualified it tells you we won’t have it easy and that is why we’re likely to make some few changes from the team that played in the four-nation tournament in Japan last week," Wellington said.

"Hopefully we will have some of the foreign based players available for us which should be good option for the team as we tackle them."

Benin eliminated Burkina Faso 4-2 on aggregate in the previous qualifying round.

Ghana won the 2009 African Youth Championship in Rwanda.

The 2011 African Youth Championship will be hosted by Libya.
