Ghana's Under-20 ladies are threatening to boycott Saturday's All Africa Games final over ââ¬Ëdiscriminationââ¬â¢ in the disbursement of winning bonuses, according to reports in the local media.
The Black Princesses were paid US$ 20,000 for securing a final berth while the Under-23 team pocketed US$ 40,000 for achieving the same feat.
The Sports Ministry claims they will play the difference of US$ 20,000 after the multi-sports event.
Minister Clement Kofi Humado was believed to have held a marathon meeting with the players to douse their anger ahead of the final cliff hanger against Cameroon.
The Black Princess are unbeaten in the tournament were clinical in dispatching Algeria 3-0 in the semi-final.
The Black Meteors will also play South Africa in the final on Saturday after a 1-0 win over Cameroon.
