Ghana U20 influential midfielder Clifford Aboagye has explained why he was not in action for the Black Satellites in their opening day stalemate with Austria on Saturday morning.
The Granada FC II attacker could not train with Sellas Tetteh's team due to his late arrival in camp, causing Tetteh to leave him on the bench.
Home fans quested why the 20-year-old who won bronze boot at the 2013 edition of the tournament was unused by Sellas Tetteh.
Aboagye explained on his official Twitter page why he could not play for the Satellites dismissing concerns he had been injured: "[Not injured bro]. I am on my way there due to visa delay."
The diminutive attacking midfielder earned raving reviews from across the world for his inspiring display for Ghana during the 2013 U20 World Cup which took place in Turkey.
The 2009 champions had looked set to emerge empty-handed against superior Group B opponents who had earlier taken the lead through Bernd Gschweidl.
