Ghana U23 striker Richard Gadze says the side is determined to beat Nigeria on Wednesday to seal progress at the 2015 All Africa Games.

The Black Meteors will qualify to the semi finals of the competition being held in Brazzaville, Congo with a win over the Dream Team who are yet to kick a ball.

Nigeria sat out the opening round of matches due to the withdrawal of Egypt.

This leaves only three teams competing for the two qualification slots in Group B.

And after the opening group draw with Senegal, leading Ghana U23 striker Richard Gadze says his teammates are primed to secure a famous win over their West African rivals.

“We are focused for this game and we want to do everything possible to qualify for the next round,” he said.

“We know it will not be easy but we are determined to get the win over Nigeria.”

Ghana won gold at the last All Africa Games held four years ago in Maputo Mozambique with a team led by Kwesi Appiah.
