Want-away winger Albert Adomah is back training with the Boro first squad.

The flanker is back in the fold as a tentative reintegration begins.

Adomah has rejoined his team-mates as they prepare for Saturday’s Riverside clash with MK Dons - although it is not clear yet if he will be involved in the game.

The winger was frozen out after a bust-up with boss Aitor Karanka led to him handing in a written transfer request.

Boro never made any official response to that request while there were no bids for the Ghana international before the window closed last week and it is understood the club are not minded to let him leave on loan as the loan window opens.

Adomah was left out of Boro’s squad’s that travelled for the Capital One Cup trip to Burton in the wake of a heated exchange after the home game defeat to Bristol City and again for the Championship win at Sheffield Wednesday although it is understood he made it clear he would be available for selection.

When the Boro squad reassembled this week after a few days off he was not involved with first team training and was doing solo running and fitness work.

But the winger joined in with some exercises yesterday and was back in full training today.
