Ghana deputy captain Andre Ayew is the third highest scorer in the English top-flight after three rounds of matches for his club Swansea City.

The Swansea City ace has scored two goals in three opening matches in the English Premier League in his first season in the world's most popular league.

Ayew scored in the opening match against Chelsea before scoring in the home game against Newcastle.

He did not scored in the weekend's match against Sunderland. The scoring table is led by Mahrez with four goals while Gomis of Swansea and Wilson of Bournemouth are tied at second place.

Ayew is among several players tied on third position with two goals.
