Ghana winger Christian Atsu expects to thrive under manager Eddie Howe at AFC Bournemouth.

The 23-year-old will be linking up with his new club teammates for the first time on Thursday having returned from holidays in Ghana.

Atsu joins the newly promoted Premier League club on his third loan stint since joining Chelsea in 2013.

The Ghana international is happy to be working under Eddie Howe who was voted the Best Coach by the League Managers Association for 2015.

“I know I will be working with one of the best coaches in England,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

“He [Eddie Howe] is the coach in England and I know I will do well under him.

“I am really looking forward to working with my new coach and I believe good things will happen this coming season.”

Atsu is desperate to get his club career back on track following a highly disappointing spell at Everton last term.

The skillful winger is looking to be more effective with regular first team opportunities with Bournemouth having had his first experience playing in the English top flight last season with Everton.
