Ghana winger Frank Acheampong is delighted with his new move to Chinese side Tianjin Teda and is ready for the new challenge.

The Black Stars influential Ghana winger completed a year loan deal to the Super League side, a move was least expected by many.

The former Anderlecht winger will be at the Chinese side until 2018 and will sign a permanent deal if he still wants to stay in the Asian country.

The swift winger in an exclusive interview with GHANAsoccernet.com expressed delight at the new move.

“I am happy with the new move and the new experience that will come with it,” he said.

“Football is always a risky profession and you must always take risk to learn from it. Deals like these do not often happen but with my perseverance and hard work and the help of God, we are here today.

“It is a short deal so there is not much to be talked about but like I said, you always have to take some risks and put yourself in a situation to be with other people and learn their culture,” he added.

Acheampong will be playing alongside former Nigeria Super Eagles skipper John Obi Mikel who joined the club last season.
