Ghana Under-23 team has been dealt another blow ahead of the reverse fixture of the 2016 Olympic Games qualifier against Congo after Frank Acheampong ruled himself out of the clash.

The Anderlecht winger was hugely tipped to make the squad for the Congo trip but is reported to have informed coach Malik Jabir of his unavailability for the clash.

Acheampong joins Abdul Baba Rahman who has pulled the plugs on his involvement, leaving the Ghanaian trainer with England-based Ebo Andoh his only foreign-based player left in the squad.
