Ghana midfielder Mubarak Wakaso scored on his Celtic debut in a 2-2 draw at Salzburg on Thursday night in the Europa League.
He was handed a started role and repaid the faith put in him by coach Rony Deila by snatching the opener on 14 minutes.
Kris Commons released the 24-year-old on the left close to the box and Wakaso drilled in a low grounder.
But the home side levelled through Alan Borges de Carvalho before the break.
Scott Brown gave Celtic the lead on the hour mark but Salzburg came back again to snatch the equalizer through Jonathan Soriano.
Wakaso joined the club on loan from Russian side Rubin Kazan last month but had not played for them since.
