Ghana Black Stars winger Nana Ampomah was at his usual best as Waasland-Beveren lashed Royal Antwerp by 2-1 at their own backyard.

Despite not scoring, Nana Ampomah was the pivot around which the visitors carved their win.

The home side broke the virginity of the game under 18 minutes through Oulare but Amponsah and his team mates staged a wonderful comeback.

Ivorian international Victorien Angban restored parity for Beveren on the stroke of half time before Thelin fetched the winner just 4 minutes after the break.

Nana Ampomah has been a massive addition to the Belgian side since making an injury return after picking an injury in his maiden game for the Black Stars.

Amponsah was handed his first call up by Coach Kwasi Appiah ahead of Ghana’s last group game in the 2018 World Cup qualifier with Egypt in Cape Coash.

The swift winger now has 7 goals from 25 appearances for Wasland-Beveren this season.
