Ghana winger Yartey without manager Hely after Frenchman resigns

Published on: 21 February 2013

Ghana winger Ishmael Yartey is without the man who signed him from Benfica after Eric Hely resigned as Sochaux’s manager.

The 48-year-old has called it quit following the side’s unflattering campaign in the French Lique 1.

The Frenchman was instrumental in bringing the Ghanaian to the Stade Auguste Bonal in a $5 million move from Portuguese side Benfica.

His exit could be a massive blow for Yartey as he will be required to work his way to win the heart of interim boss Benard Genghini.

Sochaux currently lie 14th on the League standings.
