Ghana have not announced a friendly opponent with just one week before the international break.

Top African countries have confirmed dates for the friendly games, leaving the West Africans as the only major football country without opponents.

Ghana's 2018 World Cup qualifying opponents Egypt have lined up against Togo on March 28

Ivory Coast, Nigeria and Senegal are among some of the high-profile countries that has confirmed friendly matches against top European nations.

The Ivorians will take on 2018 World Cup host Russia on Friday March 24 before playing the Netherlands seven days later.

Nigeria's Super Eagles would play against Senegal on March 23 before facing Burkina Faso on Monday March 27 in London.

South Africa take on Guinea-Bissau on March 25 before playing Angola on March 28 with Cameroon taking on Guinea on March 28.

It's a worrying trend for Ghana who find themselves in a difficult group to qualify for the global showpiece in Russia.

The Ghana FA has confirmed it's cash-strapped to organise a high-profile friendly match ahead of the resumption of the qualifying campaign.

The friendly matches are being played to afford the team adequate preparations ahead of the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying series and the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign starting in June.
