The Ghana FA boss Kwasi Nyantakyi says the womens U-17 team will be appropriately rewarded for qualifying the nation to the 2012 World Cup.
The Black Maidens thrashed the South African counterparts 5-1 on Friday to book the first of three African slots for the World Cup to be hosted in Azerbaijan.
And Ghana FA boss Kwasi Nyantakyi says a package has already been agreed upon to reward the team for making it to the mundial for an unprecedented third successive time.
ââ¬ÅI would like to take the opportunity to thank the girls for qualifying for their third successive World Cup, it is no mean achievement,â⬠he said.
ââ¬ÅThey have done extremely well and deserve to be appropriately rewarded and I can tell you a bonus package has already been agreed upon to thank them for their efforts.ââ¬
The Maidens will be looking to do even better this time around on the World stage after their first round elimination in the last World Cup in New Zealand 2008.
