Manchester United are set to battle it out with Liverpool for Ghana World Cup star Andre Ayew, the Daily Express has reported.

The 24-year-old scored two goals at the tournament as the Black Stars exited at the group stage.

But his performances have alerted both clubs, who are keen to lure him from Marseille this summer.

Ayew has previously revealed his dream to play in the Premier League and could get his wish before too long.

The son of legend Abedi Pele could still remain at French Ligue 1 side Olympique Marseille who have appointed new coach Marcelo Bielsa.

Last season, Ayew scored six goals in 25 appearances.

Moses: Returns the slap with a blow lifts a fork…and Jonathan Mensah holds Moses’ hand up. Am soo disappointed in our leaders they are soo greedy and selfish why on earth , is a very big NO and should not be tolerated . Spending our money in Brazil whilst the ordinary Ghanaian can not even afford 2 - 3 square meal in a day whats happening to our nation Ghana. Do we even hav a President at all cos things are getting worse. i have a talented brother who captains soccer missionary in Accra a colts team but because he does have anyone to help him his dream of becoming a great footballer is gradually going down the drain why why why . Our soo called leaders have really and trully disappointed we the people of Ghana and more especially the youth we have lost confident in our President ......... soo heartless whats all dis about committee thing all about . Sulley might be perfectly right if the picture being painted here is anything to go by,it's true these officials take money and virtually do nothing but sulley shouldn't have attacked him.we fresh team to manage the affairs now.from the Gfa president, all must be fired,I wish we had a military government.
