Ghana winger Christian Atsu finalized his loan move to English Premier League side Everton on Wednesday after a successful medical.

The 22-year-old met up with manager Roberto Martinez for the first time on Wednesday after completing his routine medical.

The former FC Porto star has become Everton's fourth signing this summer following the arrivals of Lukaku, Muhamed Besic, and a permanent deal for last season’s loanee Gareth Barry.

"I'm very happy to be joining Everton because it's a great club, which likes to play football, and it's a great pleasure to be here," Atsu told the club’s official website.

"Playing in the Premier League has always been a dream for me and I have achieved that dream.

"This is the biggest level for me to play at. I know that it's a very competitive league and I believe with hard work we're going to be successful this season."

Atsu, who played in all of Ghana’s three matches at the 2014 FIFA World Cup finals.

He was signed by Chelsea last summer in a five-year swoop but immediately loaned him out to Dutch club Vitesse Arnhem.

This will therefore be Atsu's second loan spell out since joining the Stamford Bridge outfit.

He is expected to play more games at Everton to aid his development as an enterprising rising star.
