Former Ghana U20 defender Baba Mensah is confident Inter Allies will not return to the second-tier of Ghanaian football at the end of the season.

The Tema-based side emerged out of the relegation zone last week, their first time since the start of the season, but still face the dangers of dropping down the red zone as they are in 14th place with 28 points, two shy of King Faisal's 30.

However 2013 U20 Ghana World Cup defender Baba Mensah is confident they will remain on the top-flight.

"And looking at the way things are going for us now I am confident we will survive in the league,” he told freelance journalist Frank Darkwah.

"Looking at the League table, it is not stable. We have six games to go and everyone can go to relegation. So we are taking match after match and working very hard to stay in the league."

Allies host All Stars at the Tema Park next Wednesday in a must-win tie.
