Ghana midfielder Alfred Duncan will complete his loan move to Sampdoria after passing a mandatory medical.
The Italian serie A club have reached an agreement with his parent club Inter Milan for the new season.
The 20-year-old impressed officials of Sampdoria during a training session and now looks set to complete the loan move in the coming days after he passes a medical.
The 20-year-old will spent another season-for the third successive time-away from the San Siro.
Duncan will pen a new two-year deal with the Nerazzurri before heading to the Genoa-based side for pre-season.
According to the agreement, Sampdoria will have the first option to purchase him at the end of the 2014/2015 season.
Duncan made 32 appearances on-loan at Livorno last season including 19 starts
