Ghana youth star Ebenezer Assifuah invited for FIFA Ballon d'Or Gala

Ghana youth international Ebenezer Assifuah has been invited for the 2013 FIFA Ballon d’Or Gala in Zurich Switzerland on Monday, can confirm.

FC Sion striker was a star performer at 2013 FIFA U20 World Cup finals in Turkey.

He scored six goals to win the Golden Shoe award as Ghana finished third at the tournament.

Assifuah will be one of the invited guests as the 2013 World Best Player is named for men and women.

Lionel Messi, Franck Ribery and Cristiano Ronaldo are in contention for the men’s award.

Nadine Angerer, Marta and Abby Wambach made the final shortlist for the FIFA Women's World Player of the Year gong.

    Please those of you who know a lot about Asafuah. Is he the top scorer in Switzerland? Or is he the top scorer even in his team. Please give us some statistics. It will help in the argument that he joins the stars.

    he is not ripe at all yet.. calling him up to experience the senior international environment wouldnt do harm but he isnt ready
