Ghanaian academy Right to Dream to play in pretigious tournament in Northern Ireland

Ghanaian football Academy, the Right To Dream Academy have been invited to the prestigious Northern Ireland 2018 Super Cup. 

The Ghanaian team will be defending the championship they won a year ago starting their campaign against Club America of Mexico, the team they beat.

Forty teams from 15 countries across the world, including Brazil and the United Kingdom, will compete in the Junior and Premier (Under 17) sections.

This year's competition will see five different categories competed for - the Premier section, Junior section, Under 13 Minor section, a girls' competition and the Under 19 Challenge game between Manchester United and Celtic which will open the tournament at the Coleraine Showgrounds.

Meanwhile, Right To Dream have been impressive in most of the youth competitions including winning the Gothia Cup last year. They will be going to Ireland with the aim defending the Premier Competition.

The drawn for the competition was done on Tuesday with Right to Dream in Group B of the Premier Section against Partick Thistle, Club America and County Tyrone.

Right to Dream have become Ghana's major source of young players for the junior national teams.

The tournament will begin on July 21st, 2018.
