Danish-born Ghanaian attacker Danny Amankwaa netted the crucial goal that propelled FC Copenhagen to the next round of the Danish Cup. 

Though the 20-year-old scored his goal in the 12th minute of the first-half, it was his goal that proved the difference as Roskilde - the host, fought strongly in the second-half to cut the deficit to 3-2.

Amankwaa, along with Ghanaian youth midfielder Daniel Amartey all started the game for Copenhagen who are still in strong contention in the Uefa Europa League showed strong resistance in the game as the host tried to frustrate them.

The young attacker is of full Ghanaian parentage as he was born to Ghana immigrants in the Nordic country in Northern Europe.

Though he is yet to fully commit to Denmark at senior level, the young attacker has pitched his progression well with the youth side, beginning with the Danish U16 side through to the U20 side.
