Ghanaian international attacker John Antwi marked his debut for Egyptian side Al Ahly by scoring a double brace in their 13-0 whitewashing of fellow top-flight side El Gouna in the Egyptian Cup on Thursday evening.

The 22-year-old former Hearts of Oak player took to the field for the first time in the Ahly colours and he made a strong statement by scoring four incredible goals to steal the highlights of the game.

Ahly took advantage of Gouna's experimental style to rewrite the records in Egyptian football as they recorded the biggest ever win in a competitive game in Egypt.

It was also the night El Gouna handed a competitive debut to 14-year-old starlet Zeyad El-Seheify who was introduced before the start of the second-half.

Antwi scored twice in either halves after netting in the 18th, 27th, 79th and 82nd minutes of the tie at the Petrosport Stadium in Kattameya.

Antwi returns to the Egyptian top-flight following a failed spell at Saudi side Al Shabab. He won the Egyptian Golden Boot award twice during his spell at Ismaily and is widely expected to lead the lines for the African giants in their domestic and continental campaign.
