Ghanaian defender Edward Kpodo inks one-year deal with Armenian side Gandzasar Kapan FC.

Ghanaian defender Edward Kpodo has signed a one-year deal with Armenian side Gandzasar Kapan FC.

The centre-back cum defensive midfielder joins from Ghana Premier League side Berekum Chelsea.

He had previously played for fellow Armenian sides Ulisses and Shirak FC.

Kpodo has had stints with Russian second-tier side FC Shinnik where he spent just one season.

The addition of the 26-year-old is expected to serve as major boost to the side.
