Ghanaian defender Paul Addo returned to the Bryne starting line-up in their 3-1 defeat at leaders Sogndal in the Norwegian second-tier league on Monday.
Addo, 25, has not featured for the side in recent games but got the nod to operate at the left back, where he played full throttle at the Fosshaugane Campus.
Coach Gaute Larsen reposed confidence in the ex-Ghana Under-17 captain but the result will not excite him after they lost by 2-0 during the corresponding fixture in the league.
Addo’s compatriot Mahatma Otoo was on target for the side as they scrolled to the win which ensured they opened a six-point haul at the top of the table.
