Ghanaian Joseph Alfred Duncan was in action for Inter Milan’s youth team who defeated Lazio 3-2 to win a historic seventh Primavera Scudetto title on Saturday.

He was involved in a fine sequence of play that resulted in the match winner in the 79th minute through Longo.

“I’m on the moon. This has been my dream for the entire season and it has come through. We have the NextGen Series trophy and this has also come,” he told GHANASoccernet.com

The 19-year-old midfielder has been invited by Ghana Under-20 coach Orlando Wellington.

I mean what is wrong with Ghana? we have abundant midfielders so why cant we convert some of these to Strikers when the need call for it. I watched the Spain against italy yesterday and with Villa Injured, the manager was bold enough to play 4-6-0 the whle of First half. and guess what a midfielder by name of FABREGASSSSS SCORED the equalizer. What is wrong with placing QUINCY OR ATSU TSAWAM OR ANDRE AYEW A SPACE AHEAD OF THE OTHER MIDFIELDERS in situations where there is no Asamoah Gyan. We dont need to field unseasoned strikers such as Adiyiah or Jordan at all cost. i Hope someone listens. We always have to use the best of what we have. simple

  2. Wow says:

Shame this guy is 23! Let’s see if he can play against his actual age group in the lower division of Italian football like …. Massawudu ….. Oh no he just sits on the bench.

Kantoose, on of the worlds best attacking midfielders can manage to play as a striker in a team as good as Spain. This should be a lesson to Ghanaian football and that you don’t insult your most prolific striker of the last 20+ years! Drogba missed a penalty – Ivorian and insult him a bit but not to the extent to make him retire. First game back he scores in a 2-0 win. Ghanaians have short term memories!

In the meantime call Waris and Boakye Yidom and forget about these old local strikers who are nearing retirement at “22″

  3. Josh says:

Are u His father?? Huh? Do u know how old boakye Yiadom and Massahudu are?? Think about your own future instead of wishing others bad luck…ma vaffanculo

  4. Duro says:

Duncan leave them…. they are jealous people who are jealous of every successful person… they think everybody is as corrupt as they are….
