AC Milan's Ghanaian duo Muntari, Boateng destroy Barcelona

Kevin-Prince Boateng and Sulley Muntari scored both goals in AC Milan’s incredible 2-0 win over Barcelona on Wednesday night.

The two Ghanaians delivered the goods upfront to secure a vital two-goal cushion for the Rossoneri in the first leg match of the epic Champions League tie played at the San Siro.

Boateng was the quickest to react to a rebounded free kick to slot home the opener in the 51st minute.

The ex-Ghana international could count himself lucky for the drop which came off the hand of Christian Zapata.

The goal spurred Massimiliano Allegri’s men on as they battled their way through the first half to keep the marauding Spanish side at bay.

Milan now looked more confident on the ball and were beginning to build their way into good positions.

One of such well-worked moves saw Sulley Muntari volley in a teed up lob from Stephan El Shaaraway for the second in the 81st minute.

Milan kept their discipline and workrate to secure the vital first leg advantage which now sees them stand a real chance of kicking out the acclaimed best team in the world.
