German-born Ghanaian forward Kwasi Okyere Wriedt made a statement on his Bayern Munich debut by scoring a superb brace to propel the reserve side to victory in the Regionalliga.

Bayern Munich II recorded a 3-2 away victory over VfB Eichstatt in the German fourth-tier league at Liqui-Moly Stadion.

The 23-year-old, who joined from third-tier side VfL Osnabrück on a three-year deal last week, opened for the Bavarians in the 7th minute of the game.

He netted his second goal of the day in the 39th minute after two-goal hero Yomi Scintu has levelled the scores for the homesters before a 92nd minute goal from Niklas Dorsch powered Bayern to victory.

He managed to score twelve goals with eight assists for VfL Osnabrück last season.

Okyere is eligible to play for either Ghana or Germany in future.
