Bundesliga II side FC Kaiserslautern are planning to sign talented Ghanaian-born kid Gideon Jung from Hamburg SV, GHANASoccernet.com can exclusively report.
Jung, who can play as a centre-back and in defensive midfield, has got limited first team opportunities at Hamburg.
The 20-year-old signed a three-year contract extension in February this year but could not break into the first team of the Bundesliga outfit.
Jung joined Hamburg last season from German third-tier side Rot-Weiß Oberhausen and has impressed for the U23 and trained on a couple of times with the Hamburg first team squad.
