Ghanaian midfielder Alhassan Wakaso took an early shower as his Guimaraes side was whipped at home by Sporting Braga in the Portuguese Premeira Liga on Sunday.

The young midfielder lasted only 31 minutes in the game and was shown the exit after a crunch tackle on an opponent player.

The home side was down by a goal before Wakaso was expelled from the game.

The exit of Wakaso from the game gave Braga a numerical advantage which they used to their benefit.

Four more goals were scored after the Ghanaian was shown the red card, resulting a 5-0 humiliating defeat at home for Vitoria Guiumaraes.

Wakaso will be out for two games due to the suspension and Guimaraes could face difficult moments in their subsequent matches.
