Ghanaian international Latif Blessing hits a brace in Sporting KC 3-0 win over Dallas in US Open Gold Cup

Ghanaian winger Latif Blessing scored twice as Sporting Kansas City convincingly whipped Dallas 3-0 in the US Open Gold Cup.

Two extra time goals from the Ghanaian winger inspired his side to the next stage of the competition in a game that was hugely dominated by controversy.

Blessing’s goals encouraged another spectacular strike from Salloi with two minutes to end the game to increase the tally to three.

A swift counter attack from Sporting KC saw Blessing slotting in a swift drive at the right corner of the post with an excellent through pass from Benny Feilhaber to break the virginity of the game.

The former Ghana Premier League goal king added the second with an incredible back heel when he was put through by Jimmy Medranda.

Blessing joined Sporting KC on the back winning the goal king of the Ghana Premier League last season with 17 goals.
