English side Tamworth FC have opened talks with Ghanaian midfielder Ahmed Obeng over an extension of his contract.
The 28-year-old’s contract with the fifth-tier side expired on June 30.
However, the club are very interested in keeping hence have started convincing the player to stay.
Obeng joined Tamworth on a season-long at the start of the season from Leamington F.C.
He was one of Tamworth's most consistent players, making 20 appearances and scoring a goal before the league was cancelled due to coronavirus pandemic.
