Turkish giants Besiktas is the latest club to show interest in signing Ghanaian midfielder Alhassan Wakaso who plays his football in Portugal with Rio Ave.

The 24-year-old midfielder had a breakthrough season with Rio Ave last season after helping them secure qualification to the UEFA Europa League.

The box-to-box midfielder also won the best player for the club last season with Istanbul BB and Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala all scrambling for his signature.

Reports in Turkey is that Besiktas are willing to make him a good offer after Rio Ave opened up interest for their best player.

Alhassan who is the younger brother of Mubarak Wakaso is currently in his native country in Ghana for holidays but should make up his mind on his next destination in the coming days.
