Ghanaian midfielder Alhassan Wakaso was sent off in his side’s 1-1 draw game against Belenenses in the Portuguese cup.
The 23-year-old Ghanaian was given his matching orders on the 81st minute for a second booking after a mistimed tackle.
The box to box midfielder’s absence proved vital as his side failed to pick up a win after he walked off though Belenenses also had Ricardo Dias sent off after that.
Alhassan will now miss his sides next two games which are all against Sporting Braga.
