Ghanaian youngster Amidu Salifu will return to Fiorentina next season when his loan deal with Modena expires.
The 21-year-old joined the Serie-B for his second stint out on loan at the beginning of the season.
Salifu has been consistent for Modena this season – making 20 appearance in the Italian second tier.
His development has been greatly aided on his second successive loan stint from Fiorentina where he struggled for regular play time.
But the Ghanaian midfielder will return to the Viola at the end of the current campaign.
“Salifu? I think that he will return to Fiorentina at the end of the season. He needs to grow and is getting better,” Modena’s sporting director Guiseppe Cannella has revealed.
Salifu joined Fiorentina from Vicernza in 2011 but has since just made 15 senior appearances for the Serie-A club.
