Ghanaian midfielder Aryana scores consolation for GAIS in Sweden

Ghanaian midfielder Reuben Aryana scored a consolation goal for GAIS as they slipped to a 3-2 loss against Ljungskile in the Swedish second-tier league on Monday evening. 

The 29-year-old levelled the scoring for GAIS on the 66th mark after his team-mate Adam Eriksson had cut down the deficit for them four minutes earlier.

The home side had taken a 2-0 lead from the first-half.

Aryana's goal restored confidence into his side but they failed to make it count as the host grabbed the winner late into the game.

It was his first goal of the season in 12 games for GAIS and while he was playing full throttle, his Ghanaian compatriot Yussif Chibsah was not in the squad for the game.
