Greece-based midfielder Abdul Aziz Tetteh believes a successful World Cup campaign for the Black Stars will open doors for Ghanaian players abroad.
The Black Stars hogged the headlines in their last two appearances in the World Cup and expected to replicate that in Brazil.
But it would be a difficult assignment after being paired with USA, Germany and Portugal in Group G.
Tetteh, who plays for Platanias, says his prayers are with the team to do well as he expects the trickle down on players abroad.
"I pray for the team all the time and I keep in contact with the guys to see how they are doing,â⬠the former Liberty professional man told GHANASoccernet.com
ââ¬ÅTheir success will torch all of us who play in Europe.
ââ¬ÅAs a Ghanaian I believe that at this point we all have to rally behind the team and wish them the best.ââ¬
