Ghanaian youth midfielder Daniel Kofi Agyei was involved in an accident but escaped unhurt, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.Â
The 22-year-old was driving his Benevento team-mate Matteo Piazza on Tuesday morning when the fatal incident occurred but fortunately none of the players got hurt in the crash.
As a result of the clash, none of the two players were involved in Benevento's 0-0 draw with Perugia in the Lega Pro 1 league game during the weekend.
Details are yet to emerge on the causes of the accident.
